Salvation
FaithWay Baptist Church is a family of individuals who have put their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation. Through trusting nothing but Jesus, every one of us must come to a place in our lives where we willingly receive God’s free gift of eternal life. Eternal life is not facilitated by church membership, good works or anything we can do. It is through the believing in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as payment for our sins. Baptism
God’s Word commands that, after we have received the gift of salvation, we should begin our new life in Christ by identifying with Him through baptism. Baptism does not save us, rather it begins a process of spiritual growth as we are “raised to walk in newness of life.” It is designed by God as a step of obedience that signifies your desire to live a committed Christian life. Biblical baptism must occur after salvation and by immersion. Upon being baptized at FaithWay Baptist Church, you are automatically added to our church membership role.
Transfer
If you have a testimony of being saved and biblically baptized by immersion, you are also welcome to join our church via transfer from wherever your membership is currently held. This may take place after reviewing our statement of faith and finding yourself in agreement with our core Scriptural beliefs. Upon request for membership, you will be directed to someone in church leadership for a brief interview to note these spiritual landmarks in your life.
